Our program provides you with the information and the skills to be a successful member of your team and build a lasting career with us. At Citi, we believe in internal mobility and career advancement is not an issue of how, but when. Citi South Africa is looking for graduates to join our annual Learnership Programme. The program is designed to provide an opportunity to gain experience and exposure for university graduates who are newly certified across a variety of Citi business units. Graduates can apply for permanent positions during the following year. They also are granted a postgraduate degree during their time in work in a field that is relevant to their particular area.

After graduation, you’ll be required to go through an extensive interview procedure. If you are successful, you will be assigned to some of the areas:
- Operations and Technology
- Finance
- Treasury and Trade Solutions
- Risk
- Investment Banking
- Corporate Banking
- Corporate Finance
- Other areas of banking
- Global Markets
- Human Resources

We’re dedicated to teaching you the basics of business. Learnership Programme Learnership Programme trains and grows important players in the current economy and will provide you with the information and skills you require to be successful in both the African or Global economies.
We’d like to talk with you…
- You’ve earned your undergraduate degree with a GPA of at least 65% or a Master’s degree in any discipline.
- It is acceptable to have a minimum of one year’s work experience, but it is not necessary
- You are a strong leader with teamwork, communication, and learnership abilities.
